Rod Max: Preferred Mediator

The nationally recognized leading mediation firm, Upchurch Watson White and Max (UWWM), is featured in the March 2007 issue of Birmingham magazine.

Rodney A. Max, principal with UWWM and active lawyer since 1975, was among the list of "The Best Lawyers in Alabama ." The article stated that "Max is known as ' Alabama' s First Mediator' and has resolved some of the most complex cases in the state over the last 15 years."

Max is a certified circuit court mediator in Florida, a certified state court mediator in Alabama and has mediated in 31 different states as well as the District of Columbia . He has authored numerous articles on meditation for professional journals, and is a noted speaker on mediation throughout the country. 

Members of UWWM serve as court-appointed and privately employed mediators, arbitrators and third-party neutral case managers, preside over private trials, and act as consultants to business and industry, designing in-house dispute resolution systems.
