This week, Seattle hosts the 17th Annual Spring Conference of the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution. This year's theme, "Solutions in Seattle" will bring together hundreds of both new and well seasoned ADR practitioners, educators, service providers, and advocates.

Attendees will benefit from CLE programs and networking on every imaginable topic in the field: family issues, employment and labor, multicultural and multi-generational dynamics, practice development and marketing, ethics, corporate and commercial, and health care ADR. Much will be shared about best practices and the future of ADR.

The unique opportunity and value of this annual conference stems from the incredibly broad range of perspectives in terms of the diversity, practice areas and geographic distribution of the attendees and presenters. In addition to dozens of sessions covering the many facets of ADR, including mediation and arbitration, there will be the Symposium of ADR in the Courts, the Legal Educators Colloquium, and, one of my favorites, the Law Student National Representation in Mediation Competition. I hope you stay tuned this week for more from "Solutions in Seattle."
