UWWM is taking dispute resolution to new heights across the state. The group, which recently celebrated the opening of its new Miami office, continues a years-long quest to enhance conference facilities and further develop its panel of quality neutrals.

A Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator, John B. Marion IV looks forward to settling disputes within the practice areas he knows best from 37 years of experience. Mr. Marion, who joins Upchurch Watson White & Max this week, began his legal career defending personal injury and wrongful death claims on behalf of insurance companies, manufacturers, institutional clients, public utilities and railroads.

Ana Cristina Maldonado, who was called to dispute resolution as a career choice beginning with her legal studies, joins Upchurch Watson White & Max Mediation Group this week. Since 2012, she has been first a courthouse mediator and then a sole neutral, focusing primarily on resolving family issues, and she will be a driving force in this practice area for UWWM. Additionally, her new affiliation with UWWM will allow her to more quickly expand her circuit civil and pre-trial mediation practice areas.

Don Weidner, who is not only a mediator and arbitrator with Upchurch Watson White and Max but also Dean Emeritus and Alumni Centennial Professor at Florida State University College of Law, will give the keynote address at the 2019 LLC Institute for the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 7 and 8, at the Stetson Tampa Law Center.
