Four Upchurch Watson White & Max mediators will present a continuing legal education session during the 2026 Annual Conference of the Florida Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association, Aug. 14–16 at Embassy Suites St. Augustine Beach.
A. Michelle Jernigan, Rick Kolodinsky, Mark Berkowitz and Robin Fawsett will present “Maximizing Outcomes: An Early Enhanced Mediation Process,” exploring strategies for resolving employment disputes before litigation costs escalate and positions become entrenched. The program will examine the value of early mediation, mutual disclosure conferences, pre-mediation conferences and other collaborative techniques designed to help parties evaluate risk, exchange meaningful information and improve settlement opportunities.
UWWM is a Gold Sponsor of the conference, one of Florida’s premier educational and networking events for plaintiff-side employment attorneys.
The presentation reflects UWWM’s longstanding commitment to employment dispute resolution and brings together mediators whose combined experience spans decades of labor and employment litigation, negotiation and alternative dispute resolution.
Registration and conference information are available through FLANELA.
