Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator Barry Davis and Insurance/Bad faith Counsel Mark Boyle present the Webinar "Resolution Techniques for Construction & Personal Injury Cases Used in Recent Catastrophic Events" at noon Wednesday, March 29, 2023. They share the process they now use for most construction and personal injury matters and that settled recent catastrophic events. Barry and Mark draw on their personal experience arising from the Florida International University Pedestrian Bridge and Champlain Towers disasters, and others.

Barry L. Davis

Barry’s results-oriented mediation evolved from decades of serving as lead trial counsel to both plaintiffs and defendants in hundreds of complex construction and commercial disputes, insurance coverage and bad faith cases, and high-profile personal injury and wrongful death matters. He and his team devised and negotiated the very creative $103.5M settlement involving more than 40 parties and insurers in the mass tort FIU Bridge Collapse litigation, where he served as lead counsel for the bridge designer.

Mark A. Boyle

Mark has been the managing partner for Boyle Leonard Anderson, PA since 2008. He concentrates his practice in insurance recovery including coverage denials, claim presentation, bad faith matters and appeals. Mark focuses on the representation of business policyholders in large construction insurance disputes and catastrophic losses. He has presented oral arguments in appellate cases before the 2nd District Court of Appeals, U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit, and the Florida Supreme Court.
