Ben Overton Co-Hosts Judicial Merit Retention Forum

Upchurch, Watson, White and Max continue to be a leader in educating the public on issues relating to the upcoming merit retention election in November.

Retired Florida Supreme Court Justice and UWWM mediator Ben F. Overton and The North Florida Chapter of the American Board of Trial advocates are hosting a free, public forum on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 7 PM. The forum gives the public as well as the sitting Supreme Court Justices, Barbara Pariente, Fred Lewis and Peggy Quince an opportunity to interact with one another.  The attendees will then be able to make an informed decision as to whether or not these Justices should or should not be retained in the November election.

This forum along with the UWWM newsletter series will continue to educate our clients as well as the voting public on the importance of the Judiciary as an independent and impartial branch of our system of government.
