Upchurch Watson White and Max principals, Lawrence M. Watson, Jr. and Michael S. Orfinger will address the Tennessee Supreme Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission at the Seventh Annual Advanced Mediation Techniques Workshop on Friday, October 16.

This workshop titled, “Something for Everyone:  Keys for Continued Success as a Rule 31 Mediator” will be held at Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy in Nashville, Tennessee from 8:00 - 4:00 PM (CST).

Mr. Watson and Mr. Orfinger will co-present four seminars to the commission members: “Securing & Enhancing Insurance Carrier Involvement in Mediations”, “Breaking Impasse”, “Planning & Executing the Mediation of Multi-Party, Multi-Issue Disputes” and “Mediated Case Management”.

In 1992 the Tennessee Supreme Court created a commission to study dispute resolution in Tennessee with a view toward the use and implementation of procedures to expedite and enhance the efforts of the courts to secure the just, speedy and inexpensive determination of disputes.
