UWWM Nominated for CPR Award for Excellence in ADR

Upchurch Watson White and Max has been nominated by Holland and Knight for CPR Institute's inaugural Law Firm Award for Excellence in ADR, recognizing a firm that best demonstrates leadership and commitment to the principles of conflict management and resolution.

            The selection criteria will focus on processes, techniques, systems, commitment and scholarship together with "best practices" which address the resolution, prevention or creative management of major disputes involving public or business institutions or among multiple parties.

                 The review committee consists of corporate counsel from:

•   General Electric
• DuPont
•   Abbott Labs
• Johnson & Johnson
• Microsoft

And faculty from:

•   University of Missouri at Columbia Law School
• Pepperdine University Law School

            The winner will be announced at the CPR's Fall Meeting in Boston , Massachusetts on October 26, 2007.
