UWWM 2009 Super Lawyers

building relationships based on trust

Upchurch Watson White & Max Mediation Group is pleased to announce that principals John Upchurch, Larry Watson, Terry White and Rod Max have been named to the 2009 Florida Super Lawyers list.

Working exclusively as neutrals, the firm’s panel members have built their reputation by bringing disagreements to an agreeable conclusion for 21 years. Whether mediation takes one day or several months, they build relationships based on trust and serve as valuable strategic guides.

Candidates are evaluated based on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Some of these include:  experience, settlements, education and scholarly lectures.

“We’re good listeners,” Upchurch says. “We excel at stimulating a candid, open conversation and identifying interests that don’t spring to the surface, especially the emotional interests that can surface even in high-stakes commercial litigation.”

Using a sophisticated system of balloting, Super Lawyers® objective is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys.  This list is used as a resource to assist other attorneys as well as consumers in their search for legal counsel.
