Lawrence "Larry" M. Watson Jr., a founding partner of Upchurch Watson White & Max Mediation Group, has been selected for the second year in a row as one of Florida Trend's Florida Legal Elite. Those featured in this publication are the top 2 percent of Florida state lawyers, and were all selected by their peers.
According to Florida Trend, The Magazine of Florida Business, their publication is noted as "a valuable resource with 150,000 Florida Trend Readers, who include executives, entrepreneurs, government leaders and public officials."

Mr. Watson gained national recognition as a pioneer civil trial mediator, and was instrumental in developing one of the nation's first comprehensive set of ethical standards for mediators, adopted by the Florida Supreme Court in 2000. In September 2005, he was presented the ACCTM Lifetime Achievement Award.
