Rodney A. Max, principal with Upchurch Watson White & Max Mediation Group, has been selected as one of Lawdragon's 500 Leading Judges in America for 2006.
This compilation recognizes Max as, "the Alabama mediation pioneer [who] has handled more than 10,000 cases."

Max is a certified circuit court mediator in Florida , a certified state court mediator in Alabama and has mediated in 30 different states all over the U.S. as well as the District of Columbia . He has authored numerous articles on mediation for professional journals and seminars, and is a noted speaker on mediation throughout the country.
