Max Tapped To Address International Conference

Rodney A. Max, principal with Upchurch Watson White & Max Mediation Group has been invited to speak at the University of Florida's 7th Annual Conference on Legal & Policy Issues in the Americas . The 2006 conference will focus on "Creating a Consensus for Justice Reform in Peru" and will be held in Lima, Peru , on May 25 & 26. The agenda includes top international experts including Michael Shifter, Vice  President for Policy, Inter-American Dialogue; Roberto Danino, former Senior Vice President and General Counsel of The World Bank; and Alejandro Toledo, President of Peru.

 

The conference will address the rule of law and justice reform throughout the Americas . Agenda items include justice reform in Peru , citizen security and human rights, economic integration, legal education and professionalism, emerging market standards, appellate systems, and property rights. Mr. Max will address alternative dispute resolution, both domestically and as an essential tool in facilitating international trade.

 

The conference is  sponsored by the University of Florida Levin College of Law's Center for Governmental Responsibility and the UF Law & Policy in the Americas Program.
