Facilitating the Facilitators

Lawrence M. Watson, Jr. and Michael S. Orfinger, principals with Upchurch Watson White and Max Mediation Group, addressed the United States District Judges of the Eleventh Circuit at the Federal Judicial Center's Workshop held in Key West, Florida on December 4, 2006. Mr. Watson and Mr. Orfinger presented "Facilitating the Facilitators: Federal Court Support for the Mediation Process" to approximately 40 Judges from Florida, Alabama and Georgia .

Their presentation included the following topics: How to Locate Mediation in Conflict Resolution Systems, Basic Components of a Civil Trial Mediation, Overall Considerations for a Successful Mediation Program, and Mediated Case Management.
