Principal Lawrence M. Watson Jr. addressed members of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, Grand Rapids, MI on March 12, 2010 at their ADR & Litigation Section CLE Event. Partnered with Joseph B. (Josh) Stulberg, Professor of Law at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, the speakers shared their experiences on “Breaking Impasse: Dealing with Negotiating Tactics that Can Run Mediation into the Ground.”

Mr. Watson is scheduled to present at the American College of Civil Trial Mediators Annual Retreat and Conference being held in Manchester Village, Vermont, July 16 - 18.

Principal Rodney A. Max is scheduled to participate in a panel discussion on Ethics in Settlement Negotiations at CLE International’s 6th Annual Class Action Conference in Chicago on June 14 –15.

On June 19, Mr. Max will present “The Latest in Mediation: What’s Going On In The Other Room” at the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association Annual Meeting being held in SanDestin, FL.

Principal Terrence White will present "The Anatomy of a Successful Mediation and What You Can Do to be a More Effective Advocate" on June 3rd at the Bryan Simpson U.S. Courthouse in Jacksonville. His presentation is part of The 2010 Ehrlich Nimmons Trial Advocacy Seminar hosted by The Jacksonville Bar Association and The Federal Bar Association, Jacksonville Chapter.

On May 20, panelist Howard R. Marsee will present to attendees at the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company CEU presentation in Orlando, FL.

Shareholder Kimberly Sands and panelist Sandra C. Upchurch will co-present “Mediation Advocacy – Effective Representation in Mediation” at the Florida Liability Claims Conference being held at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Friday June 11.

Principal and CEO, John Upchurch will participate as a panel member at the International Law Section CLE Event at The Florida Bar’s Annual Meeting, June 25 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club.   The topic of the panel’s discussion: “View from the end of the Table: Inside the Mind of the Mediator.”

Mr. Upchurch is also preparing for his fifth trip to Warsaw, Poland, as part of the University of  Florida's Center for American Law Studies program where he will lecture students of Warsaw University’s Law School on negotiations and mediation skills.
