About

In his 40 years as a litigator, Frank developed the philosophy of “Lawsuits are problems to be solved, not wars to be waged.”  While being a zealous advocate, he consistently sought to obtain the best results for his clients by exploring mutually favorable solutions as opposed to “drawing lines in the sand” and “rattling sabers.” His approach fosters a cooperative and collaborative relationship among advocates allowing all sides to hear and respect their opponent’s position during the process.

During his legal career, Frank was fortunate to represent myriad  insurers and self-insured entities and become a seasoned trial lawyer handling high-exposure civil litigation, insurance coverage disputes and maritime matters in state and federal courts throughout Florida. His work frequently involved layered insurance issues, contractual indemnity and matters presenting significant factual and legal complexity. His extensive experience with major automobile insurers affords him a deep background in analyzing and evaluating bodily injury and uninsured motorist claims arising out of auto accidents.

Although his career centered on general liability defense, Frank developed particular expertise in Coverage B/Employers Liability through his involvement in catastrophic workers’ compensation-related accidents, often involving products liability issues. This experience sharpened his ability to analyze coverage positions, allocation of risk, and defense strategy – skills that translate directly to understanding and resolving multiparty and high-exposure disputes.

Frank approaches mediation with inquisitiveness, empathy and patience. Known for his steady demeanor and practical approach, Frank is committed to helping parties move beyond impasse toward principled, informed resolution. His extensive experience with complex liability matters – including insurance coverage, multiparty disputes and catastrophic loss – allows him to address the legal and practical realities of each case thoughtfully and meaningfully, enabling the parties to fashion their own solution to their mutual dispute.
