About

Sheri L. Critelli was born and raised in Plainview, N.Y., and moved to South Florida at 13 with her family in 1979. Sheri knew at 10 that she wanted to be a trial attorney with her mother’s influence, and never deviated from that path. She put herself through college and law school, graduating college at 20 and then law school and becoming a trial attorney at 23. Sheri became one of the youngest junior partners at Adorno & Zeder, P.A., at 32. She was also a member and senior trial lawyer at her last law firm for 23 years before joining UWWM as a full-time neutral.

For the past 34 years, Sheri has been a civil trial attorney representing individuals, corporations and insurance companies. She specializes in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death resulting from automobile, motorcycle, bicycle, pedestrian and trucking accidents, premises liability, slip/trip and fall, dog bite/incident, negligent security, product defects, legal and medical malpractice. She is also proficient in the areas of commercial litigation, property damage, insurance claims, hurricane and homeowner’s claims and insurance bad faith.

Sheri has litigated thousands of cases across Florida and has conducted approximately 100 jury trials. She has also participated in thousands of mediations, arbitrations, depositions and hearings during her 34-year legal career. Her extensive life experiences and educational and litigation background have given her a unique ability to empathize with litigants and objectively understand each side of a civil case. Sheri also brings her passion, impartiality, attention to detail, comprehensive knowledge of the law and trial and negotiation skills to the mediation table.

Sheri wants to assist parties in settling their differences in a comfortable, professional, compassionate and more personalized manner. Her dedication makes her available as a full-time neutral to serve dispute resolution needs throughout Florida, whether in person or by Zoom; before, during or after business hours; and weekdays or weekends.
