About

Ken Cutler established his full-time mediation career after 38 years as a litigator based in South Florida. He retired from his law practice as a founding partner of Cutler Rader PL in September 2023 and began working as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator shortly after.

Between 1986 and 2023, Ken litigated cases as a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent-rated attorney in state and federal courts, concentrating in the negligence field of law, including automobile accident cases and premises cases like slip-and-falls and negligent security cases. The National Trial Lawyers named him to its Top 100 in the Civil-Plaintiff category in 2019.

He and his firm also handled trucking crashes, medical malpractice cases, defective product cases and a wide variety of business litigation matters.

Ken and his family are particularly active in their community, and his fellow Parkland residents elected him to serve two four-year terms on the city commission in 2016 and 2020. The charity In Jacob’s Shoes honored Ken with a Community Leadership Award in 2019.

Ken’s passions include academic pursuits in the fields of history and genealogy; he is a book author and award-winning historian. He also enjoys painting, fishing, traveling, pickleball and reading for pleasure.
