About

Alan Lasseter has spent his legal career representing individuals, businesses, and insurers in civil litigation across Alabama. Since beginning his practice in 1993, he has handled over 1,500 cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants, giving him a well-rounded perspective that informs his work as a neutral. He has extensive trial experience in courts throughout the state across a broad spectrum of matters such as personal injury, auto accidents, medical negligence, truck crashes, product liability, and police misconduct.

Alan’s mediation practice developed naturally out of his litigation career. He was first asked to serve as a mediator by fellow attorneys who believed his balanced experience on both sides of the docket would help bridge difficult settlement discussions.

As a mediator, Alan is known for his preparation, persistence, and ability to connect with both counsel and clients. He understands the pressures of litigation, the risks of trial, and the importance of practical, client-centered solutions. Drawing on his experience from both sides of the table, he works to help parties realistically evaluate their cases and find resolution when it matters most.
