Arthur Garcia Jr.
Art has a rapidly growing statewide mediation practice. He is a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and has mediated (or arbitrated) nearly 1,700 matters since joining UWWM in late 2016. Before that, he was a civil litigator and trial attorney for 26 years after graduating with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1991. Prior to his legal career, he practiced as a Registered Nurse at the University of Miami/JMH burn and trauma centers and was an EMT. Before that, he served as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, honorably discharged in 1984.
Lawrence Kolin
A full-time neutral engaged in resolving state, federal and appellate cases throughout Florida, Lawrence is an AV® Rated Super Lawyer and a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. He is an Emeritus Member of The Florida Bar ADR Section Executive Council. The National Law Journal named Lawrence a Litigation Trailblazer™ for his innovative work in ADR as a mediator (since 2001) and arbitrator (since 2005). He is also a noted speaker, lecturing at universities and even the Advanced Judicial College. He is a Graduate Faculty Scholar at UCF and authors his award-winning blog, Orlando Mediator.
