"Chuck" Mancuso will deliver presentations at the Florida Justice Association 2016 Annual Convention & Expo here at The Breakers this week. Mr. White, who lives in Ormond Beach, will speak for the conference's mediation seminar, open to FJA members only, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 24. Two other speakers will follow, rounding out the seminar, which will continue until 12:15 p.m. in the resort's Mediterranean Ballroom. Mr. White will offer insights into handling defense counsel requests to exclude named defendants from mediation, preparing for mediation, forming demand strategies and settlement offers, preparing a client for mediation and deciding what to cover in the opening presentation. He is marking his 25th anniversary as a full-time mediator this year. As a founding partner of UWWM, Mr. White has conducted thousands of mediation conferences throughout the state. He participated by invitation in The Harvard University Initial Advanced Negotiation Techniques Program with 30 negotiators from around the world, and was requested to lecture at the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court Judges Conference, as well as the Georgia Superior Court Judges Conference. He is often invited to lecture at both plaintiff and defense legal conferences.

He has litigated, for the plaintiff and defense, over 2,400 cases to completion in all Florida circuits and Florida federal districts and has been a full-time mediator since 2013. A notable early success relevant to plaintiff representation was his litigation of a multiple wrongful death action for a recovery in excess of $2 million dollars when he was 27 years old. Mr. Mancuso's presentation will be part of the young lawyers' seminar from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Gold Room of The Breakers.
