Upchurch Watson White and Max mediator Howard R. Marsee will present a thorough look at the virtues of professionalism based on research and years of participating in and observing negotiation in the mediation setting.

As moderated by UWWM mediator April Y. Walker, who represents a complementary perspective on negotiation, the 80-minute Webinar, scheduled for noon Wednesday, Aug. 15, has been accredited by The Florida Bar for 1.5 General/1.0 Professionalism CLE Credits.

Howard R. Marsee
Mediator/Arbitrator

Howard R. Marsee was a board-certified civil trial lawyer for 20 years, until 2003. Since 1996, he has served thousands of hours as a mediator, arbitrator and special master. He is certified by the Florida Supreme Court to receive circuit-civil mediation appointments. He is certified by the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida to receive mediation appointments in cases pending before that court, and he is approved by the Florida 5th District Court of Appeal as an appellate mediator. He is a member of the Florida Bar’s Standing Committee on Professionalism.
 
April Y. Walker
Mediator

April Y. Walker joined Upchurch Watson White & Max earlier this year and had been a shareholder at a major statewide firm since 2015. Recognized by her peers in 2018 as a Legal Elite in commercial litigation, Ms. Walker litigated matters in federal and state court from “cradle to grave." She also negotiated numerous favorable settlements for clients using direct negotiation skills and mediation. She is certified by the Florida Supreme Court to mediate circuit civil matters. She is also certified to mediate U.S. District Court matters pending in the Middle District of Florida.
