Rodney A. Max: "Mediation Pioneer"

 

Rodney A. Max, principal with Upchurch Watson White & Max Mediation Group, has been selected as one of Lawdragon's 500 Leading Judges in America for 2006. 

           

            This compilation recognizes Max as, "the Alabama mediation pioneer [who] has handled more than 10,000 cases." 

 

According to Lawdragon.com, "a unique feature of the Lawdragon 500 is that it encompasses the vast realm of alternative dispute resolution presided over by retired judges, arbitrators and mediators, of which there are more than an estimated 20,000 nationwide."

 

            Max is a certified circuit court mediator in Florida, a certified state court mediator in Alabama and has mediated in 30 different states all over the U.S. as well as the District of Columbia. He has authored numerous articles on mediation for professional journals and seminars, and is a noted speaker on mediation throughout the country.
